High-Level Bio
- Discovered Bitcoin in 2013 as an undergrad at Cornell
- Joined the CFPB in 2016 for a 2-year analyst program focusing on fintech
- Attended Bitcoin meetups in DC throughout 2017, wanted to work in the space full-time
- Landed a job at ShapeShift in 2018, moved to Colorado sight unseen
- Got accepted to Cornell Tech’s CS MEng program as a self-taught engineer, attended from 2020-2021
- Post grad school, joined Galaxy’s research team in 2021
- Wrote a bunch of stuff, primarily focusing on the applications side of crypto
- Left Galaxy in Spring 2023 to launch Unlayered Podcast and work on a startup of my own
